Miss America Finals Night

Last night was the first night in over 150 days of blogging that I was unable to post prior to midnight central time. I apologize!  So much going on and so many wonderful conversations.  Miss Wisconsin(all Miss contestants are 1997) brought along our old pageant program and she interviewed each of us to find out if we achieved our goals written in the program book.  I think all of us did!
More importantly we all have grown up to be successful members of our community either through our civic or church involvement or even from behind a desk, in front of a camera, or in the living room of ours homes swaddling a new born babe.  These woman are inspiring, gorgeous and accomplished.  More importantly these woman are kind, humble and giving.  Each of us is so different yet our Miss America experience unites us. 
Stay tuned for a quick prediction later tonight of who I think will win.  For the record, I hope you have the pleasure of hearing Miss North Dakota perform her talent.  Whether she wins or loses, she will one day be a star.
