Do you see the rainbow? In the center of the photograph there is a strip of rainbow. It looks as though someone placed a random rainbow sticker on the photograph. The rain came down in buckets at various times throughout the day but moved quickly through as if it was late to a previous engagement. I imagined the dark clouds to be the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland sliding through the tunnels at a quick pace stopping only to check his watch. The sky darkens, the heavens open with a furious rain only to stop moments later and reveal a clear sky. Shortly thereafter appears this short and shining rainbow. If you look carefully you can see the rainbow has a glow that shines downward toward the ground.
Upon seeing this beautiful darkness, thunderous rain, and pert rainbow Chloe says, "I want to be a storm chaser!" Brett agrees. Storm chasing does sound exciting and I encourage them to do whatever it is that God places in their hearts to do. We continue driving and I decide that our errand to San Antonio was well worth the drive to experience the majestic splendor of my heavenly Father's handiwork. I am also saying an extra prayer tonight that God does NOT open the doors for them to be storm chasers. I hope you were able to experience His handiwork in a special way today.
